If you are a disenfranchised or disillusioned NASCAR fan who is fed up with the direction the sport has taken under the "leadership" of Brian France, this is the blog for you.
I said after the 2010 NASCAR Cup season ended that I would still be observing NASCAR from the outside but not necessarily from a fan's point of view any longer. This blog will keep readers updated on the latest follies and idiocies in a sport that has been destroying itself since Brian France took over as CEO in 2004. And feel free to vent along with me. I did not leave NASCAR,it left me and many other fans. I will import NASCAR-related articles from my other blogs to this blog and occasionally have a guest blogger along of course with new original entries.
We know NASCAR plays favorites with the #48 team,especially the phony "debris" cautions NASCAR throws during races for the #48 team's benefit. We also know the "Car Of Tomorrow" (COT)has made Cup races much more boring. The COT has also given too much of an advantage to the #48 team. Of course NASCAR has done all they can to help the #48 win five consecutive championships. The influx of too many Cup drivers into the Nationwide series has defeated the original purpose of the Nationwide series and rendered it irrelevant. The greed and hypocrisy of those who run NASCAR will also be mentioned. Those who lie and are patsies for NASCAR will be called out. Names will be named.
